Some Techniques To Make Your PyTorch Models Train (Much) Faster

This article demonstrates how to significantly accelerate PyTorch model training by wrapping models in PyTorch Lightning's LightningModule and using the Trainer class. It shows a practical example of fine-tuning a DistilBERT model on the IMDB movie review dataset, reducing training time from 22.53 minutes to just 2.75 minutes while preserving model accuracy - an 8x performance improvement.
