You already use Lisp syntax

This article demonstrates that Unix shell commands actually use Lisp-like syntax through a dialogue format. It shows how placing the program name first followed by arguments mirrors Lisp's prefix notation, and how command substitution with $() parallels Lisp's nested expressions for composition.
