High-Performance Compute on Autopilot

Google's Autopilot for GKE now supports a Scale-Out Compute Class, designed for workloads requiring high single-threaded CPU performance or saturating CPU cores, like remote compilation. The feature uses T2D (x86) and T2A (Arm) VM types and is configured via a simple workload annotation, enhancing GKE's workload compatibility for performance-intensive tasks and databases.
