llm 0.31

This article announces the release of llm 0.31, a command-line tool for accessing large language models. Key updates include support for OpenAI's new GPT-5.5 model, a new text verbosity level option for GPT-5+ models (low, medium, high), and an image detail level option for OpenAI image attachments (low, high, auto, and original for GPT-5.4/5.5). Additionally, models listed in extra-openai-models.yaml are now registered as asynchronous. The release is dated 24th April 2026.
