commit-rewriter 0.1 is a Python web app that helps you rewrite Git commit messages. Built to clean up Datasette security release commits full of coding agent cruft and private issue IDs, it lets you edit messages via a web interface. Run with 'uvx commit-rewriter path/to/repo'. It creates a timestamped branch for safety, then rewrites every commit from the first edited to the most recent.
