What happened to the paragraph?

A paragraph is a thought and its development. That’s what I learned at school some thirty years ago. You introduce an idea, stay with it for a while, explain it, perhaps qualify it, and take the reader somewhere. When you’re done, you start a new paragraph. Spend enough time reading LLM-generated writing and you start recognizing a different rhythm. A sentence makes an observation. New paragraph.
