Mojo🔥 is now open source
Read OriginalMojo, a programming language designed for high-performance computing and GPU programming, has officially become open source. Originally announced in May 2023, the project has now released its compiler and toolchain under the Apache 2 license, following the 1.0 release. Mojo was initially intended to be a superset of Python, but the plan has evolved; it now stands as its own language with Python-inspired syntax, optimized for GPU programming. The open-source release marks a significant milestone for developers interested in performance-critical applications and AI tooling integration.
