Autoscaling Windows Azure Cloud Services (and web sites)

Read Original

At the Build conference, Microsoft introduced autoscaling support for Windows Azure Cloud Services and Standard Web Sites. The feature is configured via the Azure Management Portal's SCALE tab, where users can set rules based on triggers like CPU usage or queue length, define scaling increments, cooldown intervals, and minimum/maximum instance ranges. This automates the scaling process for cloud infrastructure.
