This article addresses the problem of supporting older Webkit browsers that require the verbose -webkit-gradient() syntax. The author, frustrated with manual conversion, presents a custom script that automates translating the modern, standard CSS gradient syntax into the legacy format, currently for linear gradients with plans to add radial support.
