New in GExperts 1.3.26: Auto Switch Desktop

This article introduces the Auto Switch Desktop expert in GExperts 1.3.26, a feature inspired by a Lazarus plugin presented at Pascal Conference 2025. It allows Delphi IDE users to automatically switch between two saved desktop layouts when pressing F12 to toggle between the form designer and code editor. The setup involves saving a layout for the form designer (e.g., showing Object Inspector) and another for the code editor, then configuring GExperts to link them. The switch only triggers via F12, not mouse clicks. Supported Delphi versions include 2007, 10.2 Tokyo, 11 Alexandria, 12, and 13 (32-bit IDE). The implementation is in GX_AutoSwitchDesktop.pas, and users need GExperts 1.3.26 or later.
