SharePoint 2010 & PowerShell: Creating the Farm

This article is a technical tutorial, the first in a series, detailing how to script the creation of a SharePoint 2010 farm using PowerShell. It covers adding the SharePoint snap-in, setting up service accounts and variables, creating configuration and content databases, initializing farm resources and services, and finally configuring the Central Administration web site on a specified port.
